Overview
Karen Johnson brings more than 12 years of strategy, solutions and relationship management to her role at Business Transition Specialists LLC (BTS). With skills honed from Big 4 Consulting, large-company corporate management, multi-million dollar contract negotiation, and cross-company external affairs and relationship management, she is seasoned in building customer relationships and delivering results for clients. Karen draws from a range of experiences from owning her own business, designing analytics strategies to maximize small business growth and delivering financial analysis, strategic planning and media and public speaking coaching to political incumbents and candidates. Karen brings an entrepreneurial insight and flair for public relations and marketing to her work in serving our clients.
Biography
Karen is a graduate of George Mason University and the University of Iowa Graduate College. She grew up in Northern Virginia and has lived in the Midwest region since 1996. She has been working in the public, private and government sectors for the past 12 years and successfully led and managed a wide range of business matters across several industries.
Karen has been involved with several nonprofit groups in the Kansas City area. She devotes her free time to the culinary arts and enjoys golf, tennis and live music.
