Overview
Executive Vice President VJ Jonusas has over 26 years experience in a wide variety of disciplines and brings a unique blend of capabilities to his role at Business Transition Specialists LLC. VJ has owned eight businesses himself of which four had been successful business brokerages. With over 200 successful transactions over to his record, VJ has negotiated and structured some of the most difficult business buying, selling and partnering deals in our industry. Solving complex issues that surround business transition and helping all parties feel comfortable, educated and empowered to help them make the right decision has always been VJ's commitment to excellence.
Biography
VJ Jonusas majored in communications at the University of Nebraska (UNL). Throughout the 80's and prior to entering the business brokerage industry VJ owned and operated a firm which competed in the following service categories: 3D animation, logo treatment & design for television advertising, commercial photography, voiceover and modeling, studio recording and talent management and international talent placement representing over 500 individual clients. Local, national & international companies which transacted business with VJ cover many of the brands today in major print, television and radio advertising. Intrigued by the experience and process of selling his own businesses, VJ joined a large KC business brokerage for several years prior to opening his own firm and from that point has been focused on helping buyers, sellers and current owners realize their dreams. Now as the senior subject matter expert and a founding member he is realizing his own dream to raise the bar and build a national firm dedicated to helping customers succeed. VJ keeps quite busy raising and enjoying the antics of his five children ages 10 to 20. VJ is an artist and art enthusiast, avid golfer and amateur photographer.
